NZIA specialises in carrying out sandblasting & painting services anywhere in New Zealand and offshore as well. NZIA has our own fully portable unit that has proven itself on a wide variety of projects to be very fast and efficient at carrying out remedial works on a wide variety of structures, vessels, etc.
NZIA prides itself on developing and implementing containment solutions for various sandblasting/painting projects. By containment we mean we design and build to various specifications a temporary shelter around the structure, vessel, etc that we are working on.
The containment has various purposes but the main ones are:
- Contains the foreign material being blasted off
- Contains the blasting media
- Contains any risk of overspray
- Enables other work to be carried out in the same area, this has proven invaluable in shut down work on large sites
- Protection from the weather whilst completing the project
NZIA can carry out a site inspection which would enable us to submit a very comprehensive quote. In the quote you will receive a full methodology for the project from start to finish, including blasting specifications, painting specifications, and procedures.
NZIA will also include all relevant Health & Safety documentation and *IRAANZ training and certification of personnel.

- Ship Hulls - When the ships are in port we have minimal set up time, so can turn projects around very quickly minimising the time in port for the vessel

- Specialist Coatings - High Temp Ceramic Cladding. NZIA has extensive experience in applying this specilised coating to the internal surface of large pipes/ductings to improve there efficiency, durability, and slip factor
