Our People

At NZIA we have very high health and safety standards. Along with policies and procedures we have ongoing training that we put our staff  through. This  requires all our rope access staff to do external assessments for IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) at various levels of competency, along with this we also conduct a lot of in house training and assessment – which is primarily focused around technical Industrial Rope Access rescue situations.

There is also compulsory training and assessment every 3 years, which involves 4 days of intense training and one full day assessment.

We also have on going training and re-assessment for all other disciplines like confined space, atmospheric testing, Hazard Identification, Permit receiving, First Aid, Fire extinguisher, and various required disciplines.
